Dr.
Sather opened his private practice in Bozeman on March
1, 1979. His goal is to provide the most up-to-date
eyecare available and to provide his patients with the
personalized service and care they deserve.
Dr.
Sather received a B.S. from Montana State University
in June of 1973. In 1976 he received a B.S. in Physiological
Optics from the University of California at Berkeley.
He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley
in June of 1978 and has been in private practice in
Bozeman since March 1, 1979. He and his wife Jackie
raised two children, Brett and Kelsey who were born
in Bozeman and have graduated from Bozeman High School.
Dr.
Sather has been active in the Gallatin Empire Lions
Club and Boy Scouts in the past. He is still active
in some wildlife conservation organizations and enjoys
golf and other outdoor activities.
We
welcome Dr. Sarah Kirkpatrick to our office. With her
arrival on October 28, 2009 we look forward to offering
our patients extended office hours on Thursday evening
and Saturdays. Dr. Kirkpatrick graduated from the Inidana
University School of Optometry in May of 2007. She completed
an ocular disease residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute
in Miami, Florida. She also speaks Spanish and is able
to perform bilingual ocular examinations.
Office
manager Rose Yulga has been with Dr. Sather since 1997
and keeps the office running smoothly. She and her husband
Tom raised three children in the valley.
We
also welcome receptionist Annie Knapp to our office.
Annie has worked in customer service in the airline
industry and FedEx Express.
